Multi-Company
If you run multiple companies — or manage Effici for several clients — you can add multiple company entities to a single Effici login. Each entity is completely separate: its own clients, projects, invoices, and settings.
Use cases
- Group structures — manage a parent company and subsidiaries from one account
- Agency owners — run multiple brands or divisions as separate entities
- Accountants and managers — administer Effici for multiple client businesses
- International entities — separate legal entities in different countries with different VAT rules
Add a new company
- Click your company name in the top navigation
- Select Add company
- Enter the company details (name, address, VAT number, currency, etc.)
- Complete setup for the new entity
The new company is completely independent — it has its own:
- Clients and partners
- Quotes, orders, and invoices
- Projects and time logs
- Team members and roles
- Document templates and settings
Switch between companies
Click your company name in the top navigation to see a list of all your entities. Select one to switch to it. The interface updates to show only that company's data.
Data isolation
Data is strictly isolated between companies. A client in Company A is not visible in Company B. There is no cross-company reporting by default — each company's reports and documents are entirely separate.
Team members per company
You can have different team members in each company, or the same person across multiple companies. Access is managed separately in each entity's Settings → Team.
Billing
Each company entity is billed separately based on its active users. If you manage multiple entities, each one has its own subscription.
